Meet Your Instructor

In 2009, Cathy Iconis had the perfect idea: to start her own business and have a baby at the same time. Needless to say, there were some growing pains and tears from both mother and baby, but Cathy is a special brand of crazy. She soon became a Quickbooks Online expert and aggressively networked on Twitter to make connections, grow a following, and showcase her expertise. The industry took notice as Cathy was recognized as one of CPA Practice Advisor’s 40 Under 40 Honorees for nine years, and would have gone for 10 if it weren’t for the pesky age cut-off. She became such a sought-after expert that she even helped Intuit develop the first version of its Advanced QuickBooks Online Certification. After her second daughter was born, Cathy started QBOchat as a resource for other accountants and bookkeepers to help them start and grow their own practice. The core of Cathy’s teachings is to ask a simple question: “What makes you happy?” She finds it easy to fall into the trap of feeling like a failure if your practice isn’t growing as rapidly as others, but if you listen to your passions, you’ll find your own level of success.

  • Who is the Kick Start Course for?

    This course is for bookkeepers and accountants that are starting or building their bookkeeping practice. You can be just starting out or have been around for a while and really need direction. You understand bookkeeping but need help learning how to use QuickBooks Online to build a profitable practice. I will NOT be teaching "debits and credits".

  • How long will I have access to the course?

    Once your purchase is complete, you'll have lifetime access to the course. This includes any updates made for future releases. (If you use the payment plan, all 6 payments must be made in order to maintain access to the course. If a payment is missed, access to the course will be suspended indefinitely until all payments are made.)

  • What if I don't like the course and want a refund?
